Welcome to the website of the  Integrated Polytechnic Regional Center (IPRC Kigali).  We hope that it will provide you with useful information. The global goal of the Government of Rwanda is to reduce poverty and in turn to improve the well-being of its population.Within this context, the mission and vision of IPRC Kigali  is to provide technical and vocational training at all levels in order to empower students and enhance their opportunities for career advancement and success in a global economy. IPRC Kigali  aspires to be a leading world class institution in the provision of Technical Education, producing graduates capable of developing and implementing creative technical solutions to identify social and industrial needs of Rwanda, the region and International society.

IPRC Kigali Female Basketball Team participated in the Inter-university Tournament. The Tournament was organized by  the  Rwandese  university Sports and Culture Federation (Ferwascu) from 12th to 13th May 2012 at Kavumu College of Education in Muhanga District. The match was played at Kavumu College of Education  under the on-going sports competitions bringing together 7 higher Learning institutions. IPRC Kigali spray under group B comprised of SAVE, ESAI and KIST. The captain of the Female team Mrs Kankindi Claudine,  said that she was impressed with performance of the team  as it was the first time they participated in the Inter-university tournament. 

 

IPRC KIGALI CELEBRATED  THE LABOUR DAY

The DG WDA, The Principal and Vice PrincipalsOn 1st May 2012, Rwanda celebrates the International Labour Day under the theme “Promote Employment by Supporting Prospective Entrepreneurs”. In this context, the Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre (IPRC Kigali) celebrated the labour Day at Kicukiro Campus.During the celebrations, Managers and staff in different departments discussed  the way forward achieve the development of the institution. During that  function  the swearing in ceremony of  IPRC Kigali staff was done.

 

IPRC KIGALI  PARTICIPATED IN THE LABOUR DAY EXPO

IPRC Kigali standThe Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA) in collaboration with Partners in terms of Employment promotion, organized an Exhibition of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), High Learning Institutions and Universities, Banks and Tele -Communication Companies. The exhibition took place at Small Stadium Amahoro, Remera from 28th up to 30th April 2012. The objective of the  expo was to  demonstrate  how the education programs enhance employability among our graduates and how the community benefits from our programs and research projects.
